Princess Astrid opens largest PV park in Casablanca...

30.11.2018

On Wednesday, Princess Astrid opened EnergyVision's newest PV park, in the presence of Prime Minister Geert Bourgeois, Deputy Prime Minister Didier Reynders, the Moroccan Minister of Energy and over 200 guests. In less than four weeks, we built a park of more than 4,000 solar panels on the Silver Food site in Berrechid, Casablanca. The park will generate at least 1.8 million kWh of electricity per year and is the largest in the region. EnergyVision financed, developed, built and is operating the entire project. Almost all of the 75 EnergyVision employees from Belgium, China and Morocco were present for the launch. One press of the red button and production started.
More information about the inauguration of this project (including timelapse video) can be found here.-

Two more mega parks in the pipeline...

At the Royal Economic Mission, EnergyVision signed two framework agreements with the family holdings of the El Eulj Group in the presence of, among other people, Minister-President of Flanders Geert Bourgeois. In the course of 2019, we will install two parks on company premises, one at Somafaco (in the food industry) and the other at Segra. Each park is over 1 MWp, equalling more than 1.5 million kWh per year.

What a spectacular end to the year.

With growth in all offices and countries, and more than a thousand completed projects in total, all installed on budget and on time. That's why we are now the market leader in the Brussels-Capital Region (providing free solar panels for your home via www.brusol.be) and in Morocco. In China, we have built more than 20 MW (the last park will be delivered next week) and have more than 50 MW lined up for 2019.
EnergyVision started with 5 employees, now has 75, and will have more than 125 in 2019. In anticipation of further growth: best regards from the whole team! Yesterday we were all with Princess Astrid (see photo below), but from now until Sunday we'll be lounging by the swimming pool in Marrakech.

And then we're back to work on Monday!
