EnergyVision wins group purchase for fixed-rate tariff organised by iChoosr
GHENT – EnergyVision has won the auction for the fixed-rate tariff within the new group purchase organised by iChoosr, in collaboration with the Province of East Flanders, samensterker, Samen Overstappen and Samen Overstappen via KBC. With tens of thousands of interested parties expected, the group purchase once again confirms the high level of interest among households in clear and competitive energy contracts.
EnergyVision secured the deal with its fixed-rate offer. Participants will soon receive their personalised proposal and will then have time to decide whether or not to sign up. The Ghent-based energy company expects another strong influx of new customers and high interest from families who are already customers today. In doing so, the Ghent-based energy company continues its growth trajectory, with a strong focus on transparency, local roots and Belgian green energy.
“People today are looking for more than just a competitive rate,” says Maarten Michielssens, CEO of EnergyVision. “They also want clarity, predictability and a supplier that is close by. We can clearly see that trust reflected in our retention figures today, and in the growth in new customers.”
iChoosr and its partners have once again explicitly opted for 100% Belgian green energy, with the aim of supporting households in their transition to more sustainable and affordable energy.
According to Michielssens, this group purchase also demonstrates that Belgian players are increasingly asserting their place in the energy market. “We continue to build a locally rooted energy supplier with our own generation, transparent tariffs and a direct relationship with our customers. That model is clearly resonating.”
