EnergyVision sees massive influx of customers and keeps all lines open until Tuesday midnight

27.03.2026

GHENTOngoing unrest in international energy markets is causing an enormous number of questions among Belgian households. Energy company EnergyVision is seeing a massive shift of customers towards the certainty of a fixed contract. Today, more customers are signing up in a single day than during an entire month last year. Low prices at most suppliers will end on March 31. To guarantee March tariffs for everyone who wants them, EnergyVision will keep its offices, phone lines, and mailboxes open until midnight on Monday and Tuesday.

Where EnergyVision welcomed an average of 350 new customers per week organically last autumn, that number is now significantly higher. Without any form of paid advertising, 1,500 new customers have been joining each week since the beginning of March, and this week even more than 1,500 new customers per day. The conclusion is clear: urgency is high and customers are looking for stability.

Last chance before rising gas prices

EnergyVision’s current March tariff card remains valid until Tuesday, March 31 at midnight. Due to market conditions, gas prices and electricity prices are generally expected to rise sharply. To give everyone the opportunity to switch in time, EnergyVision is exceptionally extending its opening hours to ensure maximum availability. On both Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31, the company will remain open until midnight: customers can email, call, chat, or visit the Ghent office in person. Anyone who reaches out before midnight is guaranteed to receive the March tariffs.

“We are a company that truly cares about its customers and is used to growing and adapting quickly. In times of crisis, we are there for our customers. We proved that in 2022, when we were the only supplier not to raise our prices, and that is more true today than ever. At the beginning of this month, we were already the cheapest energy supplier in the country. As the only player, we did not increase our prices in March. These prices remain fixed until March 31 at midnight, and customers can literally call us or visit us until that moment. Our employees even volunteered to stay in the office until midnight in the coming days to help people as much as possible,” says CEO Maarten Michielssens.

EnergyVision emphasizes that customers not only choose them for competitive prices, but also for certainty. It is precisely this combination of transparency, sharp tariffs, and simplicity that makes it easy for customers to find their way to EnergyVision today. “With us, it’s simple: anyone who signs up can be sure their energy contract will be processed correctly and on time. No hassle, no uncertainty,” says Michielssens. “At the same time, the world will not end on April 1: we will not increase our electricity prices in April. We source our electricity from our own production installations, which are unaffected by Iran or the volatility of international markets.”
