EnergyVision receives Greenpeace's highest distinction

Ghent, December 3, 2025 — In the ranking of Belgian energy suppliers published today by Greenpeace, EnergyVision received a score of 18 out of 20, earning it a rating of “high distinction.”
The energy company, which is included in the ranking for the first time this year, immediately achieved the highest newcomer score.

In addition to the cooperative suppliers, EnergyVision enters the ranking as the highest-scoring commercial energy supplier. The company also achieved the highest score in the category of companies with more than 100,000 connection points.

“This recognition confirms that a large energy supplier can now resolutely opt for renewable energy,” says Maarten Michielssens, CEO of EnergyVision.

Strong position within the Belgian energy market

The score places EnergyVision among the most sustainable energy suppliers in the country. The company has been investing heavily in local renewable production capacity for years and continues to build on a model that focuses on affordable, locally produced green energy.

According to the company, the fact that EnergyVision ranks among the most sustainable and cheapest suppliers in Flanders underlines that true green energy and affordability go hand in hand.
