EnergyVision launches a new energy contract with a fixed feed-in tariff
Ghent, 30 September 2025 – A fixed feed-in tariff of 4 euro cents per kWh for three years, even when wholesale electricity prices go negative: these are the terms of a brand-new energy contract from EnergyVision. The country’s fastest-growing energy supplier is first to market with this formula. Consumers in Flanders can sign up starting 1 October, with Brussels and Wallonia to follow. “Owners of solar panels and digital electricity meters should not be penalized for the success of solar power,” the company states.
Will solar panel owners in the future always have to pay to inject excess power into the grid? Not if it’s up to EnergyVision. The supplier is introducing a fixed-variable tariff with a guaranteed feed-in payment for the next three years, regardless of negative market prices. The launch is backed by the campaign ‘Are You Crazy?!’

Solar energy is not worthless
Today, EnergyVision already guarantees consumers with a one-year contract that they will never pay to inject their surplus electricity into the grid. With this new formula, the company goes a step further: it offers additional security through a fixed feed-in tariff and a term that has no equal in the Belgian market.
“With our existing EnergyVision Cheap Power contract, consumers receive 1,000 kWh per year at a fixed rate of 9 euro cents/kWh (excl. VAT). The rest of their consumption is billed at variable rates. On top of that, we are now introducing a three-year energy contract in line with our philosophy of long-term certainty. The contract is transparent and comes without fine print: no indefinite terms, no possible tariff changes, and therefore complete security for the customer. Solar panel owners who choose this new contract are guaranteed a fixed feed-in tariff of 4 euro cents per kWh for three years.” Maarten Michielssens, CEO of EnergyVision
The new contract will be rolled out in Flanders starting 1 October, with the rest of the country to follow.
