Xuhe, Fujian

Rice-processing company Xuhe were looking for a technical masterpiece: they wanted over 10,000 solar panels on their new hall in the warm southern province of Fujian. Not only were the panels intended to provide the company with green power, but at various points they also formed the roof of the building! When our staff arrived at the site, there wasn’t even a roof yet. Several dozen installers therefore spent over a month dangling metres above the ground, installing panels which simultaneously formed the roof.
